Our Team

Luis is one of the co-founders of Cape Verde Vacation & Services who also executes the office of the President and CFO positions in the company. Originally from Praia, Santiago Island, he has been a leader for a few different organizations in different countries. He currently manages, simultaneously, few different contractors as a Project Engineer in the construction area. Luis is a dedicated achiever who always strives to accomplish his tasks at the highest level.

Native of Santiago Island, Michael Gomes has always had Cape Verde's tourism as one of his main concerns. As time would have it Michael, together with some members of the Peace Corps, had the chance to visit all the islands of the archipelago fueling his interest in Cape Verde's tourism. “I’ve always believed in Cape Verde’s tourism potential”. After settling in the US, Michael became one of the top sales representatives for a tourism company for three years. This experience gave him the tools to jump start Cape Verde Vacation & Services. Michael is also owner of a Black Car Service company called Townie Car Services in Boston.

Leonildo is a Program/Operation director for CPVVS. He currently works as a management trainee for a car rental company. Leonildo has many years of experience working in logistics and sales. He is originally from Santa Cruz, Santiago Island, Cape Verde. He has been very active in his community, volunteering for Toys for Tots, the Cape Verdean Association of Brockton and Association for the Children and Friends of Santa Cruz. Leonildo received a B.A. in International Relations with a minor in Asian Studies and a certificate in National Security Studies from Florida International University.
